Maintenance Assistant - 5-Star Luxury Hotel Salary: £32,000 + Approx. £5,500 Annual Tronc Are you a hands-on maintenance professional looking to join one of the UK's leading luxury hotels? We are recruiting for a Maintenance Assistant to become part of the engineering team at a prestigious 5-star hotel, where exceptional standards and guest satisfaction are at the heart of everything. Benefits of Maintenance assistant Salary of £32,000 per year Approximately £5,500 annual tronc, increasing your overall earnings Meals provided whilst on duty 29 days holiday (including bank holidays) Uniform provided and laundered Employee discounts across the hotel Training and development opportunities Company pension Responsibilities of Maintenance assistant Carry out planned and reactive maintenance throughout the hotel Complete basic plumbing, electrical, painting and decorating, and carpentry repairs Respond promptly to maintenance requests from hotel departments Assist with preventative maintenance schedules Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety regulations Report faults and escalate larger repairs where necessary Maintain plant rooms, public areas, guest bedrooms, and back-of-house facilities Support contractors when required Keep accurate maintenance records What we're looking for Previous experience in a maintenance or facilities role Good all-round knowledge of building maintenance Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and decorating A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving skills Ability to prioritise workload and work independently Friendly, professional manner with a strong focus on guest service Experience within hotels or hospitality would be advantageous but is not essential If you're looking to develop your maintenance career within a luxury hospitality environment while earning an excellent package of £32,000 plus approximately £5,500 in tronc, we'd love to hear from you.
