Our client is looking for a Lead Maintenance Engineer to join their team, providing hands-on maintenance expertise while supporting the day-to-day running of the Maintenance Department. You'll be responsible for supervising maintenance activities, supporting technicians and contractors, ensuring high Health & Safety standards, and helping to keep site facilities operating safely and efficiently. Consultant: Shannon Webb | Ref: 5372 The Role *Supervising and supporting the Maintenance Team *Planning and prioritising routine and corrective maintenance *Supporting contractors, shutdowns and project work *Ensuring Health & Safety and compliance standards are maintained *Identifying opportunities for plant improvement *Ensuring maintenance systems and documentation are kept accurate and up to date *Taking responsibility for day-to-day maintenance performance The Candidate *Instrumentation qualification - Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 *Good working knowledge of electrical systems *4-5 years' relevant maintenance experience in a supervisory capacity *Experience within oil & gas or a similar industry *Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and control systems *Excellent communication and leadership skills *Strong problem-solving ability *Proactive, reliable and able to work under pressure What's in it for you? *Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm *Enhanced call-out payments *25 days annual leave *10% company pension contribution *Life assurance - 8x salary *Bonus of up to 15% Elix Sourcing Solutions is a specialist recruiter for Engineering, Manufacturing, Tech, Energy and Science roles ranging from mid to senior level positions.
