Senior Quantity Surveyor

Senior Quantity Surveyor Midlands (covering two sites) £(phone number removed) + Package An established and growing contractor is looking to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team, working across two power generation projects roughly 90 minutes apart, spanning the West Midlands and the South East Midlands. A Midlands base is ideal to allow a manageable commute between both locations. The Role Working closely with site and engineering teams, you will be responsible for the commercial management of power generation projects delivered under NEC contracts. Key responsibilities will include: Commercial management of power generation projects under NEC contracts Handling compensation events and early warnings Managing variation accounts Producing cost reports and forecasts Reviewing and agreeing valuations Supporting site teams with commercial guidance Preparing and negotiating final accounts Building strong relationships with client and stakeholder teamsRequirements Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within power generation or a related sector Essential: demonstrable NEC experience, including compensation events, early warnings and variation accounts Comfortable splitting time across two live sites Strong understanding of industry standards, regulations and best practice in commercial management Full UK Driving Licence essentialPackage £60,000 - £70,000 DOE £6,000 car allowance Company pension scheme Healthcare cover Cycle to work scheme Enhanced family leave Death in service coverThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor with strong NEC experience to join a growing business.
