Multi-Skilled CNC Service Engineer Location:South West, UK based (Possible Nationwide Travel) Salary: £45,000 - £48,000 Basic + OT Benefits: Company Vehicle, Fuel Card, Expenses Covered, Overnight Accommodation Provided When Required The Company A well-established CNC machine tool service provider is looking to recruit a Multi-Skilled CNC Service Engineer to support customers across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business. The Role As a CNC Service Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, fault finding and repairing a wide range of CNC machine tools at customer sites. You will work on both mechanical and electrical issues, supporting customers with breakdowns, preventative maintenance, machine alignments and installations. Key Responsibilities Service, maintain and repair CNC machine tools. Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults. Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM). Ball bar testing and analysis. Ball screw inspection, replacement and alignment. Turret alignment and machine accuracy adjustments. Gearbox repairs and replacements. Hydraulic and pneumatic fault finding and repairs. Candidate Requirements Previous experience as a CNC Service Engineer Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills. Experience working on CNC machine tools including: DMG Mori, Mazak, Hurco, Haas CNC control systems including:Fanuc/Siemens/Heidenhain Ability to work independently at customer sites.
