Master Technician / Senior Vehicle Technician Location: Orpington, Kent Salary: £55,000 – £60,000 DOE Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:30pm The Opportunity: Are you an experienced Master Technician or highly skilled Senior Vehicle Technician looking for your next move? We are recruiting for an exciting opportunity with a well-established, privately owned independent automotive service centre in Orpington. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small, experienced team where your skills and experience will genuinely be valued. The business has built a strong reputation locally and works across all vehicle makes. The position has become available following the departure of a highly experienced technician who had been with the business for over 20 years, so this is a key appointment for the company. About the Role: As the senior technician within the business, you'll be responsible for carrying out a wide range of mechanical and diagnostic work to a high standard. You'll be joining an established team of technicians who have been with the business for many years, giving you the opportunity to work in a professional but friendly environment without the pressures often associated with larger dealer groups. The business has four workshop bays and an MOT ramp, with a varied workload covering all makes and models. We're Looking For: The ideal candidate will be: * A qualified and highly experienced Vehicle Technician * Ideally operating at Master Technician level, or a very experienced Senior Technician * Confident carrying out complex diagnostic and mechanical work * Experienced across a range of vehicle manufacturers * Able to work independently and take pride in the quality of their work * Professional, reliable and committed to delivering excellent customer service * Keen to continue developing their technical knowledge What’s On Offer? * £55,000 – £60,000 salary, depending on experience * Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:30pm * No weekend working * No overtime required * 45-minute lunch break, 1:00pm – 1:45pm * Stable, permanent position with an established independent business * Friendly and experienced team * Opportunity to work across all makes and models * Further training and qualifications available for the right person * A genuine emphasis on work-life balance and family time Why Consider It?
