Specialised SEND Tutor

SEND Tutor - Wirral Prospero Teaching are searching for an experienced SEND Tutor to support children and young people across the Wirral! The Opportunity We are looking for dedicated teachers, tutors and mentors to provide tailored 1:1 educational support to learners with a range of additional needs. The successful candidate will build a strong relationship with their learner and adapt sessions around their individual abilities, interests and educational goals. Experience supporting learners with SEND is essential, particularly where students may have experienced barriers to accessing mainstream education. Position Details: Location: Wirral Position: SEND Tutor Hours: 5-15 hours per week Start Date: September 2026 Duration: Ongoing Experience, Training and Qualifications: Previous experience working with children or young people with SEND Teaching, tutoring or mentoring experience Experience supporting SEMH, Autism, ADHD or other additional needs QTS or equivalent desirable Strong communication skills Patient, creative and adaptable approach To be eligible for this role, you must: Hold the Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional child-related references Apply Now If you're passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to education and reach their potential, we'd love to hear from you!
