Location: Willesden Contract: Ongoing | Full-Time Shift: Monday to Friday Start: Immediate Starts Available We are currently recruiting for an experienced Yard Operative to join a busy scrap metal recycling operation. The role involves working in an industrial yard environment, handling and moving scrap materials, including heavy domestic appliances such as fridges and freezers. Key Responsibilities * Loading, unloading and moving scrap metal and appliances around the yard * Handling heavy fridges, freezers and other large domestic appliances * Sorting and separating different types of scrap materials * Using manual handling equipment and yard machinery where required * Keeping the yard clean, tidy and organised * Following all site health & safety procedures * Working as part of a team in a busy, physically demanding environment * Carrying out general yard duties as required About You * Previous experience in a yard, scrap metal, recycling, warehouse or industrial environment is desirable * Comfortable handling heavy and bulky items * Physically fit and able to carry out manual work throughout the shift * Reliable, punctual and hardworking * Able to work safely around heavy machinery and vehicles * Good attitude and willingness to get stuck in What We Offer * Competitive hourly rate * Ongoing work with potential for permanent employment * Full-time hours * Immediate start available * Training provided where required * Opportunity to work within an established recycling operation If you're an experienced Yard Operative looking for ongoing work in a busy scrap metal environment, apply today
