BOAS Engineer

Questech Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client for a BOAS Engineer to join a busy manufacturing site in Leeds. Location: Leeds Salary: £32,000 – £38,000 DOE Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm or 7:00am–4:00pm This is a great opportunity for an engineer with experience working with steam boilers who is looking to develop their skills within a well-established manufacturing environment. The Role * Looking after and maintaining steam boilers across the manufacturing site * Carrying out routine boiler checks, inspections and maintenance * Monitoring boiler performance and identifying potential faults * Supporting breakdowns and ensuring equipment is operating safely and efficiently * Completing relevant maintenance and compliance documentation * Working closely with the wider engineering and maintenance team * Ensuring all work is completed in line with site health & safety procedures The Person * Ideally 6+ months' experience working with steam boilers * BOAS qualification or relevant boiler experience * Experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment would be beneficial * Knowledge of steam systems and boiler operation * pH testing experience would be a bonus * Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills * Strong understanding of health & safety procedures What's on Offer * £32,000 – £38,000 per annum DOE * Monday to Friday – days only * Choice of 8:00am–5:00pm or 7:00am–4:00pm * Permanent position * Opportunity to develop further boiler and steam engineering experience
