Portfolio Payroll are proud to be partnering with a well-established accountancy practice based in Widnes who are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Payroll Specialist to join their close-knit team. The Role Working within a small, supportive team, you will take ownership of a varied portfolio of clients, processing weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls to strict deadlines. Accuracy, organisation and strong client communication will be key. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for own portfolio of client payrolls Operating weekly and monthly payrolls Handling RTI submissions and ensuring all statutory requirements are met on time. Maintaining clear and accurate records, including notes, correspondence, and client files. Responding to client queries promptly, professionally, and confidently. Ensuring additional work is quoted and logged appropriately. Obtain the relevant information from the client, process the information and send the final payroll and pay slips etc to the client Arrange the BACS payment of employees for some of the clients Dealing with client queries regarding payroll matters Dealing with Auto enrolment; pension letters and uploads Desirable skills and attributes: Previous experience in client payroll (Bureau/ Practice) Proficient using Paycircle and/or IRIS payroll experience Confident Communicator Good eye for detail, and can work with precision Ability to work to tight deadlines, in a fast-paced environment Able to work independently and collaboratively What's on offer: A generous salary Flexible hours 25 days holidays plus banks Free parking Work socials Flexible working hours If this sounds like your next best opportunity, apply directly or call on (phone number removed) and ask Lidya to discuss the role further 51757LAR1 INDPAYN The Portfolio Group are acting on behalf of our client in recruiting for this position
