Fawkes & Reece are working with a leading Tier 1 contractor who are looking to appoint a Design Coordinator to join one of London's most significant live construction projects - an £800m multi-storey data centre development in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a highly technical, large-scale scheme where you'll be involved in coordinating key design packages from pre-construction through to delivery, working alongside an experienced Senior Design Manager and project team. The Role You'll play a key role in coordinating the steelwork and façade design packages, ensuring information is delivered on programme, technically compliant, and fully coordinated across the wider project. Your responsibilities will include: Coordinating steelwork and façade design submissions, drawings and technical documentation. Managing design deliverables against programme milestones. Coordinating between specialist subcontractors, consultants and internal teams. Managing RFIs, technical queries, design comments and action trackers. Supporting BIM coordination and resolving interface clashes. Coordinating façade approvals, mock-ups and material submissions. Ensuring compliance with project specifications, fire strategy and planning requirements. Managing interfaces between structural, architectural and MEP packages. Supporting design workshops, technical reviews and stakeholder meetings.
