Catering Engineer

Job Title: Catering Engineer / White Goods Engineer Location: Newcastle and surrounding areas Salary: £30,000 - 32,000 basic + door-to-door overtime Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday The Role We are looking for a skilled and motivated Catering Engineer (or engineer with strong white goods experience) to join a growing service team covering Newcastle and the local area. This is a field-based role involving the service, maintenance, and repair of commercial catering equipment. Key Responsibilities * Service, fault-find, and repair commercial catering equipment (gas and/or electric) * Work on-site at customer premises including restaurants, cafés, schools, and commercial kitchens * Complete service reports accurately and professionally * Deliver excellent customer service while representing the company on-site * Manage workload independently while meeting service-level targets What We’re Looking For * Proven experience as a Catering Engineer or solid white goods engineering background * Electrical experience essential; gas qualifications desirable but not essential * Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills * Full UK driving licence * Good communication skills and a professional, customer-focused attitude What’s on Offer * £30,000 basic salary * Door-to-door overtime paid * Company van, tools, and uniform provided * Ongoing training and development * Stable role with long-term career prospects This role would suit an experienced engineer or a white goods engineer looking to move into commercial catering equipment
