Purchase Ledger Clerk

In this Purchase Ledger role, based in Birmingham, you'll manage the processing of invoices, payments, and supplier queries to ensure the smooth running of the finance function. Client Details This company is based in Birmingham Description Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner. Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies effectively. Prepare and process payment runs, ensuring compliance with payment terms. Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions. Handle supplier queries and provide clear resolutions. Assist with month-end tasks related to accounts payable. Support the wider accounting and finance team as needed. Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.Profile A successful Purchase Ledger should have: Previous experience in an accounts payable or similar finance role. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Good communication skills to liaise with suppliers and internal teams. A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.Job Offer Competitive salary between £28,000 and £33,000, dependent on the level of experience.
