Production Supervisor - Manufacturing / Fabrication We're recruiting for an experienced Production Supervisor to join a well-established manufacturing business. This is a hands-on shop-floor leadership role where you'll take responsibility for keeping production running safely, efficiently and on schedule. You'll lead and develop a skilled manufacturing team, manage day-to-day priorities and play a key part in driving improvements across quality, productivity and delivery performance. The Role Lead and coordinate day-to-day shop-floor production. Allocate labour and resources to meet changing production demands. Monitor quality, productivity and delivery performance. Manage absence, holidays, performance and general team development. Maintain high standards of Health & Safety and shop-floor discipline. Troubleshoot production issues and work collaboratively with other departments. Drive continuous improvement, efficiency and cost-reduction initiatives. Develop skills within the team through training and multi-skilling.What We're Looking For Strong background within metal fabrication/manufacturing, including welding and/or metal forming. Previous production supervisory or team leadership experience. Strong people-management and communication skills. Good understanding of Quality, Cost & Delivery (QCD). Continuous improvement / Lean manufacturing mindset. Comfortable using ERP/MRP systems and standard IT packages. IOSH or similar Health & Safety training would be advantageous.This would suit a Production Supervisor, Manufacturing Supervisor, Fabrication Supervisor or experienced Team Leader looking for a hands-on role with plenty of responsibility and the opportunity to make a real impact.
