Engineering Manager Location: Glossop Salary: £50,000 + Profit & Performance Bonuses Shift: Days CV Technical are recruiting for an experienced Engineering Manager on behalf of a leading manufacturing business based in Glossop. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Engineering Manager, Maintenance Manager or Engineering Supervisor looking to take ownership of an engineering function within an established and successful business. The Role As Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading the engineering and maintenance function, ensuring equipment reliability, minimising downtime and supporting the continued improvement of the site. Key responsibilities include: Leading, managing and developing the engineering team Managing planned and reactive maintenance activities Driving improvements in machinery reliability and reducing downtime Ensuring PPM schedules are completed effectively Managing engineering projects and continuous improvement initiatives Working closely with production and senior management Managing contractors, engineering resources and budgets Ensuring all engineering activities are completed safely and in line with company standards Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, reliability and overall engineering performance The Candidate The successful Engineering Manager will ideally have: Previous experience as an Engineering Manager, Maintenance Manager, Engineering Supervisor or Maintenance Supervisor Experience within a manufacturing, production or industrial environment Strong mechanical and/or electrical engineering knowledge Proven experience managing and developing engineering teams Experience reducing downtime and improving equipment reliability A proactive and hands-on approach to engineering and problem solving Strong leadership and communication skills A relevant engineering qualification The Package £50,000 basic salary Profit-related bonus Performance-related bonus Days-based role Opportunity to lead and develop an engineering function Career development within an established manufacturing business If you are an experienced Engineering Manager looking for a new challenge in a days-based position, please apply today.
