Safeguarding Partnership Adults Lead

Good Afternoon, I am currently representing Slough Council who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 3-6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience We are looking for a Safeguarding Partnership Adults Lead this role will be based at: 25 Windsor Road, Slough, Berkshire, SL1 2EJ, Hybrid 3 days office based. The right candidate will: * To provide professional safeguarding expertise and support to safeguarding partners to deliver on the Safeguarding Partnership safeguarding priorities. * To deputise for the strategic lead for safeguarding partnerships when necessary. * To work as a member of the Safeguarding Partnership team, proactively supporting the team objectives and responding to high, changing and sometimes conflicting demands and promoting continuous development. * To provide specialist safeguarding advice, guidance and support to partners on their in-house training and policy development, including accountability to the safeguarding partnership on the impact of their in-house training provision. * To carry out an annual multi agency learning needs analysis with partners to provide an evidence base for multi-agency learning. * To ensure that all multi-agency safeguarding learning opportunities are clearly publicised and in good time. * To engage with national, regional, and local safeguarding policy forums to ensure local multi-agency developments are up to date. * To analyse a variety of information sources in relation to safeguarding and distil complex and contentious information into local comprehensible applications and communications such as briefings for a wide range of professional audiences, and the general public. We require the following: * Extensive practice experience of working directly to safeguard adults. * Experience of providing safeguarding training. * Managing staff and resources effectively within agreed budgets.
