Freelance Site Manager – Fit Out & Refurbishment Location: Coventry Duration: Freelance Start Date: early September Project: PureGym Fit Out & Refurbishment We are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee the fit out and refurbishment of a PureGym in Coventry. This is a live environment, so the successful candidate will need to be confident managing site operations while maintaining a professional approach around gym users, staff and members of the public. Key Responsibilities * Managing the day-to-day delivery of the fit out and refurbishment works. * Coordinating subcontractors, site teams and deliveries. * Ensuring works are completed safely, on programme and to a high standard. * Maintaining excellent communication with the client, subcontractors and gym staff. * Managing works within a live environment while minimising disruption to gym users. * Ensuring all Health & Safety and site procedures are followed. * Carrying out regular site inspections and quality checks. * Attending progress meetings and providing regular updates to the project team. Requirements * Proven experience as a Site Manager within fit out, refurbishment or similar projects. * Strong knowledge of Health & Safety and site management procedures. * Experience working within live environments would be highly advantageous. * Excellent communication and people-management skills. * Ability to coordinate multiple trades and subcontractors effectively. * SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications. * Ability to work independently and take ownership of the project
