VEHICLE TECHNICIAN Location: Boston Salary: Basic Salary up to £42,000 | OTE up to £49,000 Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, plus Saturdays on a rota, 8:30am to 1:00pm LOOKING FOR A WELL-PAID TECHNICIAN ROLE WITH GENUINE MANUFACTURER TRAINING AND A CLEAR ROUTE TO MASTER TECHNICIAN? Your duties will include: ·Routine servicing and maintenance ·Mechanical and electrical repairs ·Diagnostics and fault finding ·Suspension, steering and brake repairs ·Wheel bearings, driveshafts and exhaust systems ·Air conditioning servicing ·Working on EV and Hybrid vehicles ·Using electronic diagnostic equipment ·Fitting manufacturer accessories and audio equipment ·Completing vehicle health checks and associated paperwork ·Using video reporting systems such as CitNOW ·Working to manufacturer and dealership standards ·Supporting and sharing knowledge with the wider workshop team   ABOUT YOU You will ideally have experience as a Vehicle Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, MOT Tester or Automotive Technician. NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent, is preferred, although candidates currently working towards their qualification will also be considered. EV and Hybrid qualifications would be advantageous, but full training is available. An MOT licence is also beneficial but not essential.
