Workshop Forklift Engineer - Aldridge

Job Title: Wrokshop Forklift Engineer   Basic Salary: £30,000 - £37,000 Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm (40hrs) Location: Aldridge  Your responsibilities will include: Performing servicing, maintenance and repair work on a broad range of forklift trucks and material handling equipment Identifying and resolving mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues Carrying out LOLER inspections to ensure all equipment remains fully compliant Completing safety checks and pre-delivery inspections Responding to breakdowns and conducting reactive maintenance to reduce customer downtime Effectively organising and managing your workload and service schedule Accurately filling out service reports and job sheets Communicating with parts departments to ensure the correct components are sourced and installed What you’ll need: Experience as a Forklift engineer / Material handling mechanic / Plant Fitter or similar Proven experience of diesel engines Strong experience with electrics, hydraulics and diagnostic skills Ability to work independently and manage workload A professional, reliable and customer-focused attitude Full UK driving licence Your Package: Basic Salary: £30,000 - £37,000 Company pension scheme Generous holiday allowance plus bank holidays  Next steps: If this sounds of interest - please contact Celi on (phone number removed) or apply today.
