Site Manager – Civils Location: North East Job Type: Permanent We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join a well-established civils contractor delivering residential and infrastructure projects across the North East. The successful candidate will have a strong background in plotworks, roads and sewers, with proven experience managing civils packages from start to finish. The Role * Managing day-to-day site operations across civils and infrastructure projects * Supervising subcontractors, site teams and plant * Overseeing plotworks, roads, drainage and sewer installations * Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards * Coordinating with engineers, subcontractors and project management teams * Monitoring progress and resolving site issues * Ensuring all works comply with health & safety and environmental requirements * Completing site documentation, inspections and records About You * Proven experience as a Site Manager within civils/construction * Strong experience in plotworks, roads and sewers * Good understanding of groundworks and residential infrastructure * Strong leadership and communication skills * Able to manage subcontractors and site teams effectively * Relevant site management qualifications, ideally SMSTS * CSCS and relevant civils experience This is a great opportunity to join a growing civils contractor with a strong pipeline of work across the North East.
