Class 2 HGV Driver – B46 1DT Key Details Pay Rate: £14.90 per hour Location: B46 1DT Working Days: Monday to Friday Start Times: Between 6:00am and 8:00am Hours: 45 hours guaranteed per week Drops: Typically 6–10 deliveries per day Contract: Temp-to-Perm or Casual/Ad-Hoc Shifts Induction: Company induction required on arrival The Role We are recruiting experienced Class 2 HGV Drivers for our client based in B46 1DT. This is a Monday-to-Friday delivery role with a guaranteed 45-hour working week. Start times will vary between 6:00am and 8:00am, with drivers typically completing between 6 and 10 drops per day. Delivery locations and the number of drops may vary from day to day. Duties Driving a Class 2 HGV Completing approximately 6–10 deliveries per day Handballing goods at delivery points Using a pump truck Strapping and securing loads Making curbside and designated delivery-point deliveries Ensuring goods are delivered safely and securely Providing a professional service to customers Completing a company induction on arrival before starting the role Requirements Valid Class 2 (C) HGV licence Previous Class 2 driving experience Experience with load strapping Comfortable with handballing and manual handling Experience using a pump truck Reliable and punctual Professional attitude and good customer service skills Able to complete the required company induction What’s on Offer £14.90 per hour Monday to Friday work 45-hour guaranteed contract Regular weekday work Temp-to-perm opportunity Casual/ad-hoc shifts also available Consistent Class 2 delivery work To apply, please send your CV or contact us for further information
