Asbestos Surveyor Location: Chelmsford, Essex Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience) Contract: Permanent | Full-time A well-established UKAS-accredited asbestos consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to support a busy and growing workload across Chelmsford, Essex, and the wider South East region. Salary & Benefits £35,000 - £40,000 salary (DOE) Company vehicle or car allowance 22-25 days annual leave + bank holidays Company pension scheme Ongoing training and professional development Overtime opportunities available Structured and manageable workload Long-term career progression The Role Carrying out Management, Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264 Conducting bulk sampling and accurately recording site information Producing clear and compliant asbestos survey reports Working across commercial, industrial, education, healthcare, residential, and public sector properties Managing your own workload across Chelmsford, Essex, and surrounding areas Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and site personnel Ensuring all work complies with current asbestos legislation, HSE guidance, and company procedures About You BOHS P402 (essential) Previous experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor Strong understanding of HSG264 and current asbestos legislation Experience within a UKAS-accredited consultancy preferred Full UK driving licence Strong communication and report-writing skills Professional, organised, and reliable Why This Role Competitive salary for an experienced surveyor Varied workload across multiple sectors Company vehicle or car allowance Strong operational and technical support Overtime and additional earning opportunities Long-term stability and career progression For further information or to apply, contact Aidan Morgan or send your CV to for immediate consideration
