Asbestos Bulk Laboratory Analyst Location: Worthing, West Sussex Salary: Up to £32,000 (depending on experience) Contract: Permanent | Full-time A well-established UKAS-accredited asbestos consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Asbestos Bulk Laboratory Analyst to join its laboratory team in Worthing. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced analyst seeking a stable, laboratory-based position with flexitime working, strong career development, and long-term security. The position is focused on bulk asbestos analysis within a professional UKAS-accredited laboratory environment. Salary & Benefits Up to £32,000 salary (DOE) Flexitime working 22-25 days annual leave + bank holidays Company pension scheme Ongoing training and professional development Structured laboratory-based working environment Long-term career progression opportunities Supportive management team The Role Analysing bulk samples for the presence of asbestos-containing materials Carrying out analysis in accordance with HSG248 and UKAS procedures Accurately recording and reporting analytical results Maintaining high standards of quality control and laboratory compliance Ensuring samples are processed accurately and within required turnaround times Maintaining laboratory equipment and completing relevant quality checks Supporting the wider laboratory team with day-to-day operations About You BOHS P401 - Identification of Asbestos in Bulk Samples (essential) Previous experience working as an Asbestos Bulk Analyst Experience working within a UKAS-accredited laboratory environment preferred Strong understanding of laboratory quality procedures Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Good organisational and communication skills Able to work independently and as part of a laboratory team Why This Role Salary up to £32,000 depending on experience Flexitime offering greater flexibility around working hours Stable, laboratory-based position No field-based surveying or analytical work Long-term career development opportunities Join an established consultancy that values quality and technical standards For further information or to apply, contact Aidan Morgan or send your CV to for immediate consideration
