Senior Social Worker - Adults University Hospital Coventry & Warwickshire, Coventry (Hybrid Working) £31.97 per hour (UMB) 37 hours per week Location- 2nd Floor, East Wing University Hospital Coventry & Warwickshire Coventry, CV2 2DX Key Responsibilities Manage a complex caseload within Adult Social Care. Undertake assessments, care planning, and reviews in line with statutory requirements. Support safe and effective hospital discharges. Lead on safeguarding enquiries and promote best practice. Work collaboratively with health professionals, partner agencies, service users, and their families. Provide professional expertise and guidance within the team.Essential Requirements Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration. Significant experience working within Adult Social Care. Proven experience in hospital discharge planning. Strong knowledge and practical experience of safeguarding adults. Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary environment. Hybrid Working: 3 days per week in the office 2 days per week working from home This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975. As this role is eligible for an Enhanced DBS check, applicants are required to declare any cautions and convictions that are not protected under current filtering rules.
