Credit Controller

Axon Moore are delighted to be recruiting for a Credit Controller to join a forward-thinking, high-growth business based in Central Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative finance team, reporting into a supportive manager within a small, close-knit team structure. Location: Central Manchester (Hybrid Working, minimum 2 days in the office) Salary: £30,000 – £32,500 + Benefits Key Responsibilities End-to-end credit control duties, managing B2B collections via phone and email Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers to support effective cash collection Proactively managing and reducing aged debt Resolving customer queries and liaising with internal stakeholders where required Cash allocation and account reconciliations Supporting weekly/monthly debtor reporting Assisting with billing processes, including cancellations and adjustments Carrying out credit checks to assess and minimise risk Escalating aged debt to externally where appropriate   Person Specification Previous experience within Credit Control or Accounts Receivable (minimum 2 years) Experience working in a B2B environment Strong communication skills with a relationship driven approach Strong attention to detail with a methodical and organised approach Positive, adaptable team player Benefits £30,000 – £32,500 salary 28 days holiday + bank holidays (including 25 days annual leave, plus birthday, Christmas shopping day & a ‘ME’ day) Private healthcare Paid breakfast & lunch socials twice a month Summer and Christmas social events Hybrid working (2–3 days in the office) Flexible working hours available Central Manchester location with excellent transport links   This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business with ambitious plans and a strong, supportive culture.
