CNC Turner (Nightshift) | Ferndown | £22ph You know Mazak inside out, and you take real pride in getting a first off right before it ever reaches inspection. This is a role where your programming and setting skills are relied on from the moment you clock in. Precision isn't just expected here, it's the whole point. As a CNC Turner (Nightshift): 4 day working week, Monday to Thursday Permanent night shift, 8:30pm to 7:00am Death in service benefit Autonomy to manage programming, setting and operating from start to finish Working with advanced Mazak CNC turning centres and cutting edge technology Opportunities to develop your skills in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing As a CNC Turner (Nightshift): Programme Mazak CNC lathes using Mazatrol and ISO G-code Set and prove out jobs on Mazak Quick Turn, Nexus, Smooth or Integrex machines Run CNC turning operations to produce precision components within tight tolerances Perform first off and in-process inspections using micrometers, verniers and gauges Maintain a safe and organised work area in line with 5S standards As a CNC Turner (Nightshift): 3-5+ years' CNC turning experience, with proven ability to programme, set and operate Mazak machines Strong knowledge of Mazatrol and/or Smooth controls, plus ISO G-code editing Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and GD&T Understanding of cutting speeds, feeds and tool geometry across materials A proactive approach to problem-solving and maintaining quality standards If you want a night shift role where your precision and problem-solving are properly valued, this is worth a conversation.
