Maintenance Technician

We’re looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician to join a friendly maintenance team within a manufacturing environment. This role involves maintaining a wide range of machinery, while also supporting the build of bespoke welding machines and site improvement projects. Maintenance Technician Hourly rate between £18-20ph 39 hour working week Permanent Aldershot, Hampshire Maintenance Technician Job Description Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs Maintaining a range of machinery including lathes, mills, grinders, furnaces and wire-making lines Supporting the mechanical assembly of bespoke welding machines Helping manage the site maintenance schedule to reduce downtime Identifying improvements to machinery and processes Working closely with the maintenance and production teams  Maintenance Technician Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications Strong mechanical maintenance experience within manufacturing or engineering Experience maintaining manual or CNC machine tools (lathes, mills, grinders) Experience with production machinery or furnaces would be beneficial A hands-on approach, strong problem-solving skills and willingness to get involved Mechanical engineering apprenticeship or Level 3 NVQ / City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering (or similar)  Maintenance Technician Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications Weekly Pay 25 days holiday + bank holiday Company pension contribution – 5% Free Parking  If you feel you’re a good fit for this position, please click ‘apply
