Job Title: Setting Out Engineer Location: Sittingbourne Salary: £300 per shift (10-hour days) Employment Type: CIS - Ongoing Work Available About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Setting Out Engineer to join our housing project team focused on groundworks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in setting out for residential construction and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Key Responsibilities: * Set out construction sites using surveying equipment (total stations, GPS, etc.). * Interpret and work from engineering drawings and specifications. * Collaborate with the site team to ensure projects are completed on time. * Monitor site progress and compliance with regulations. * Conduct safety inspections and implement risk assessments. * Communicate effectively with site teams, stakeholders, and subcontractors. Qualifications: * Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer in groundworks. * Proficient in using surveying equipment and software. * Strong understanding of construction methods and safety standards. * Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. * Relevant qualifications (e.g., degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent).
