Health, Safety & Environment Manager c. £55,000 to £65,000 Gravesend, Kent Job reference: GG/7304 Overview Would you like to work with one of the fastest growing and most successful manufacturers in the UK? We are seeking an experienced and driven Health, Safety & Environment Manager to oversee Health and Safety at a large food processing facility in Gravesend, ensuring that the business is fully compliant with all Health and Safety standards. This role is key to ensuring the efficient, safe, and cost-effective production of high-quality ingredient products, and the cultural unity of the people on site from a Health and Safety perspective. The Role The successful Health, Safety & Environment Manager will: * Manage internal teams and external providers to ensure the PrepWorld site and associated systems, processes and practices are maintained at all times to a high standard. * Lead from the front in developing a health and safety culture that all colleagues are positively engaged * Maintain RA & PUWER assessment delivery and reviews with the relevant departmental stakeholders and highlight all gaps in a timely manner to achieve compliance. * To ensure that the physical security of the site and workers on site is always maintained. * To organise, or provide suitable training and instruction to all levels of the business with regard to H&S essentials. * To challenge existing practices and procedures in a positive and constructive manner to be clear on understanding and to ensure the appropriate changes are made.
