Are you an experienced Metrology Engineer looking for your next challenge? We’re looking for a skilled and proactive Metrology Engineer to join a growing manufacturing business in Sutton Coldfield. You’ll play a key role in dimensional inspection and validation, supporting Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Tooling and NPI teams. Metrology Engineer Permanent Excellent Salary Double Day Shift- 6am – 2pm , 2pm – 10pm Sutton Coldfield Metrology Engineer Job Description Creating and editing CMM measurement programmes using PC-DMIS Carrying out dimensional inspection of mouldings, gauges and fixtures Producing professional measurement reports, including FAIR, ISIR and PPIR Using CMMs, portable measuring arms and scanning equipment Interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, tolerances and GD&T Supporting NPI, Quality, Manufacturing and Tooling teams Metrology Engineer Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications Strong CMM operating and editing programming experience Good knowledge of PC-DMIS Experience interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T Strong understanding of dimensional measurement and analysis Experience with FAIR/ISIR/PPIR, MSA, Cpk and SPC If you feel you’re a good fit for this position, please click ‘apply
