This role involves collections from hospitals and healthcare sites, transporting medical waste in a safe, professional and compliant manner. This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable Class 1 driver looking for regular work on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. The Role * Driving Class 1 vehicles * Collecting medical waste from hospitals and healthcare sites * Working to planned routes and schedules * Completing daily vehicle checks * Ensuring all paperwork is completed correctly * Following site rules and health & safety procedures * Representing the business professionally at customer sites Shift Pattern * 4 on 4 off * 06:00 / 07:00 starts * Start date: 20/08/2026 Requirements * Valid Class 1 / Category C+E licence * Driver CPC * Digital Tachograph Card * ADR beneficial, but not essential * Reliable and professional attitude * Good communication skills * Comfortable working around healthcare / clinical environments * Safety-focused approach What You Get * £16.00 per hour * Weekly pay * Regular 4 on 4 off shift pattern * Ongoing work * Temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate * Support from Driver Hire Teesside throughout the assignment * KPI bonuses once permanent
