Our client is seeking an experienced cook / chef to work within their café. This is a great opportunity with an immediate start, and for the right person, will lead to a permanent position with future development opportunities. What’s in it for you / Benefits: • 8:30am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday (weekend over time available Sat AM) • £13.21 pay per hour • Free Level 2 Food Hygiene & Allergy Awareness training (if not already held) • Opportunity to move into a permanent role • Friendly, supportive working environment • Immediate start available Role Overview: As a key part of the café team, you’ll be responsible for preparing a simple, high-quality menu including breakfasts, toasties, sandwiches, and pastries. Preparing hot food, and hot and cold beverages. You will support the smooth running of the kitchen and help deliver a positive customer experience. Key Responsibilities: • Prepare and cook hot food to order • Maintain kitchen cleanliness and food safety standards • Work efficiently to meet service times • Support other team members as needed • Communicate clearly and positively with the front-of-house team Skills and Experience: • Previous kitchen or café experience is essential • Basic food prep skills and an interest in food • Punctual, trustworthy, and hardworking • Able to follow food safety and hygiene procedures • Friendly team player with a can-do, flexible attitude How to Apply: Please click apply or send your CV to (url removed).
