SEND Maths Tutor - St Helens Do you have a strong Maths background and experience supporting young people with SEND? Prospero Teaching want to hear from you! The Opportunity We are currently seeking a SEND Maths Tutor to provide individualised educational support to a learner across St Helens. The role will involve delivering Maths tuition on a 1:1 basis, whilst adapting your teaching style to suit the learner's individual needs. The successful tutor will be able to build rapport, make Maths accessible and engaging, and support the learner to develop confidence alongside their academic progress. Position Details: Location: St Helens Position: SEND Maths Tutor Hours: 5-15 hours per week Start Date: September 2026 Duration: OngoingExperience, Training and Qualifications: We're particularly interested in candidates with: Strong Maths subject knowledge GCSE Maths teaching or tutoring experience Previous experience working with SEND learners Experience supporting SEMH, Autism, ADHD or other additional needs QTS, PGCE or equivalent desirable A patient and adaptable approachTo be eligible for this role, you must: Hold the Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional child-related referencesApply Today If you are a Maths teacher or tutor who enjoys working on a 1:1 basis and supporting learners who need an individualised approach, this could be an excellent opportunity for you.
