Scrap Metal Operative – Oxygen/Propane Burner Leicester, LE4 £12.71 Per Hour We are looking for someone to work in a Scrap Metal Yard based in Leicester, LE4. The role involves using a Oxygen/Propane Burner to dismantle and cut large metal parts. Ideally you will have had some similar experience using cutting/burning tools, however training is provided. Full PPE is provided Please note that this role is an outdoor role.   THE ROLE Cutting and processing various types of scrap steel Using burning and cutting equipment safely and efficiently Preparing materials for further processing Supporting general recycling and yard operations when required Working closely with colleagues to maintain an efficient workflow Following all environmental and health and safety procedures Keeping the working area clean, safe and organised  ABOUT YOU Previous experience working as a Steel Burner, Scrap Metal Burner or in a similar role is desirable altho9ugh not essential Competent and confident using steel burning and cutting equipment Good understanding of safe working practices Comfortable working outdoors in a busy industrial environment Reliable, hardworking and able to follow instructions Physically able to undertake manual work  BENEFITS Free off-site parking Employee Assistance Programme Opportunity for a permanent position  If you are interested in this role apply now or call (phone number removed) for further information
