Position: Locum Echocardiographer Location: London Duration: 3-6 months Hours: Full-time Pay Rate: £50-£55 Role Overview IMC Locums are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Echocardiographer to join a dynamic cardiology team in Gloucestershire. This role involves providing expert echocardiographic services, including transthoracic (TTE), transesophageal (TOE), and stress echocardiography. The ideal candidate will have experience in advanced imaging techniques and be confident in providing high-quality diagnostic reports. Key Responsibilities Perform and interpret a range of echocardiographic studies, including TTE, TOE, and stress echocardiography. Produce accurate and timely diagnostic reports to support clinical decision-making. Collaborate with cardiologists and multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care. Ensure compliance with relevant clinical guidelines, protocols, and safety standards. Supervise and mentor junior staff or trainees when required. Essential Criteria BSE accreditation (or equivalent international qualification). Significant experience in echocardiography, including advanced imaging modalities. Proficiency in using echocardiography equipment and software from leading manufacturers (e.g., Philips, GE, Siemens). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
