Specialised SEND Tutor

SEND Tutor - Halton Prospero Teaching are currently looking for experienced SEND Tutors to provide 1:1 support to learners across Halton! The Opportunity We are seeking enthusiastic and compassionate tutors to work with children and young people who require additional support with their education. You'll provide personalised 1:1 tuition, adapting your approach to suit each learner's individual needs, abilities and interests. Building a positive relationship with the learner will be an important part of the role, alongside helping them develop confidence and make educational progress. Position Details: Location: Halton Position: SEND Tutor Hours: 5-15 hours per week Start Date: September 2026 Duration: Ongoing Experience, Training and Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience working with children or young people with SEND Teaching, tutoring or mentoring experience QTS or equivalent qualification desirable Experience supporting SEMH, Autism, ADHD or other additional needs A patient, flexible and creative approach To be eligible for this role, you must: Hold the Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional child-related references Apply Now If you're passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning and reach their potential, we'd love to hear from you!
