HGV Class 2 Landside Yard Driver - Hounslow (TW4) Location: Hounslow, TW4 Pay: £19.08 per hour PAYE Overtime: £24.80 per hour after 9 hours Shift: 4 on / 2 off Experience: 6-12 months HGV Class 2 Omnia Resourcing is recruiting HGV Class 2 Landside Yard Drivers for a leading global airline catering company in Hounslow. This is a yard-based shunting role, safely moving LGV Class 2 vehicles around site. Offering excellent pay, a 4-on/2-off pattern, free meals on every shift, ongoing work and temp-to-perm opportunities. Key Responsibilities Safely shunt Class 2 vehicles around the yard Complete vehicle checks and yard inspections Check and verify trailer seals Follow UK Road Laws and Working Time Regulations Maintain high safety and operational standards Requirements Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card 6-12 months' Class 2 experience Maximum 6 penalty points, with no major endorsements Good spoken and written English Reliable, flexible and hardworking Benefits £19.08 PAYE / £24.80 overtime Free breakfast, lunch and dinner every shift Overtime available Ongoing work with temp-to-perm opportunities Pension and up to 28 days' paid holiday Mortgage and tenancy references Career progression opportunities Security Clearance Applicants must be able to complete a Basic UK Criminal Record Check, Overseas Police Check where applicable, 5-year employment and address history, and additional airport security checks.
