Site Manager

Our client, a specialist in the civil engineering sector, is currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to join a major project in Washington, Tyne and Wear. This position focuses on tunnelling and shaft sinking within the water industry. Key Responsibilities: Overseeing day-to-day site operations. Ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. Coordinating site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers. Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance. Liaising with project stakeholders and providing regular progress updates. Job Requirements: Proven experience as a Site Manager within civil engineering projects. Demonstrable experience in tunnelling and/or shaft sinking environments. Strong leadership and site management skills. Ability to manage subcontractors, site teams, and ensure compliance with HSE requirements. Valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certification. Appointed Person (Lifting Operations) qualification desirable. What's on Offer: Immediate start available from the first week of September.
