ASD Assistant - Reading Are you a Psychology graduate looking to gain hands-on experience supporting young people with ASD and additional needs? A specialist secondary school in Reading is seeking a caring and enthusiastic ASD Assistant. This role is ideal for aspiring Psychologists, Therapists, or Teachers looking to develop valuable experience in SEN. The Role as an ASD Assistant Provide 1:1 and small-group support to students with ASD. Support communication, emotional regulation, confidence, and independence. Build positive relationships and encourage engagement in learning. Work alongside teachers and SEN staff to create a supportive environment. Monitor students' wellbeing, behaviour, and progress.We're Looking For an ASD Assistant who Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic individuals. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. A genuine interest in ASD, SEN, psychology, or education.
