Job Description: Resourcer ### Role Overview The Resourcer supports the recruitment team by identifying, engaging, and screening suitable candidates. The role involves interviewing candidates, verifying that they meet role requirements, and maintaining an efficient pipeline. Responsibilities also include sourcing through job adverts and outbound outreach (including cold calling) to candidates who have previously applied for other roles. ### Key Responsibilities Source candidates via job adverts, direct outreach, and targeted search. Carry out first-stage screening and interviewing to assess suitability. Check candidate details against the role requirements and person specification. Review applications and qualification evidence to confirm eligibility. Make outbound calls to candidates who previously applied for other jobs (cold calling). Engage candidates professionally, providing clear information about roles and next steps. Maintain accurate candidate records and pipeline updates in the recruitment system/CRM. Support recruitment campaigns by coordinating candidate communication and scheduling. Provide timely feedback to recruiters and hiring managers. Maintain compliance with relevant recruitment policies and data protection requirements. ### Required Skills and Experience Experience in recruitment resourcing, talent sourcing, or recruitment administration. Confidence interviewing candidates and assessing requirements fit. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to handle cold calls. Good organisation skills and attention to detail when reviewing applications. Familiarity with recruitment processes and candidate screening. Proficiency using recruitment tools/CRMs and spreadsheets to track candidates. ### Desirable Prior experience recruiting for similar roles or in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of hiring best practices and structured screening approaches. Experience working with job adverts and running high-volume outreach. ### Personal Attributes Proactive and confident in outbound sourcing. Strong judgement when checking candidate requirements. Candidate-focused and able to build rapport quickly.
