Quantity Surveyor We have an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join an established main contractor based in Southampton. The business has an excellent reputation and operates across several sectors including education, healthcare, industrial and commercial. Projects value typically up to £15mil and are across Hampshire, West Sussex and Dorset. As a result of continued growth in the region, they're now looking to expand the commercial team with a Quantity Surveyor. About the role of Quantity Surveyor: As Quantity Surveyor, you will be working either as commercial lead on a project or as number 2 depending on your experience and size of projects. There is ample opportunity within the business to progress, and this is something at the heart of how the business operates. Key Responsibilities as Quantity Surveyor: Be involved in 2-stage tenders Sub-contract procurement Manage sub-contractors accounts on site, dealing with variations Deal with final accounts Key requirements for this Quantity Surveyor role: Construction related HNC / Degree Experience working within a main contractor Experience administering JCT forms of contract Must live within a commutable distance to Southampton Whats on offer for this Quantity Surveyor role: Salary: Up to £65k Company car / car allowance Additional benefits Solid pipeline of projects in the region Excellent progression opportunities This is an opportunity to join a leading regional main contractor in a strong financial position and excellent career prospects.
