Site Manager

This is an ideal opportunity for a Site Manager with strong commercial fit-out experience who is comfortable working within fast-paced project environments and coordinating multiple trades. This Site Manager role offers the chance to work on a high-profile scheme from start of September, managing key areas of the project and helping drive delivery through to completion. This scheme is a 28 -week programme worth £5.5m. About the Role of Site Manager As Site Manager, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of a commercial fit-out project in Berkshire. Working as No1 on site, you will be reporting back to a visiting Project Manager you will be responsible for managing subcontractors, maintaining programme targets, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety throughout the build. Responsibilities for Site Manager Managing day-to-day site operations and subcontractor activities Ensuring works are completed safely, on time, and to specification Monitoring programme progress and reporting updates to senior management Coordinating and managing multiple trades across different work areas Conducting quality inspections and snagging reviews Reviewing RAMS and maintaining Health & Safety compliance on site Attending progress meetings and liaising with clients and consultants Managing materials, logistics, and workforce requirements Requirements for Site Manager Proven experience as a Site Manager on commercial fit-out projects Strong knowledge of CAT A and CAT B fit-out delivery SMSTS, CSCS Card, and First Aid qualification required Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to manage subcontractors and maintain programme targets Strong understanding of quality assurance and Health & Safety procedures Our client is a highly regarded Design & Build contractor with a strong track record of delivering high-quality commercial fit-out projects across London.
