T&K Associates have an exciting opportunity for a Stock Controller to join our Client in Ashby-de-la-Zouch on a Temporary on-going basis with the potential of becoming permanent for the right candidate. We are looking for a proactive, hands-on individual who enjoys working in a warehouse environment. Stock Controller Job details; * Monday-Thursday 7:15am - 4:30pm and Friday 7:15am - 12:15pm * Free on-site parking Stock Controller Job Description; * Carry out cycle counts, perpetual inventory (PI) counts, and stock verification across the warehouse. * Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, shortages, and inventory variances. * Verify product locations, batch numbers, expiry dates, and stock accuracy within the Warehouse Management System (WMS). * Operate a Reach truck and order Picker Truck to safely access and verify stock stored at height. * Monitor warehouse location standards and identify misplaced or non-conforming stock. * Manage SIN BIN, quarantine, scrap, and obsolete inventory in line with company procedures. * Support Kanban replenishment and external warehouse stock control activities. * Produce accurate inventory reports and maintain stock control records. * Work collaboratively with Warehouse Operations, Quality, and Production to improve inventory accuracy and warehouse performance. Stock Controller Person Specification; * A proactive and self-motivated individual who takes ownership of your work. * Must have previous Stock Controller Experience * Highly organized with excellent attention to detail * A logical problem solver who enjoys investigating and resolving issues * Comfortable working independently and managing your own workload * Confident working in a fast-paced warehouse environment * A strong communicator who works well with colleagues across different departments * Committed to maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy, and housekeeping * Someone who is reliable, adaptable, and always looking for ways to improve This is an excellent opportunity to join a great Company.
