Mechanical Pipefitter – Water Treatment Plant (North Somerset) Duration: 5 weeks initially, with a strong possibility of extension Future Work: Potential opportunity to move onto further contracts across the South West Start: Immediate A leading MEICA contractor is looking for an experienced Mechanical Pipefitter to join their team on a clean‑water treatment plant project in North Somerset. This role involves mechanical installation, pipework assembly and supporting upgrade works on a live water‑industry site. Key Responsibilities * Install and assemble mechanical pipework systems (stainless, ductile iron, steel). * Fit brackets, supports, flanges and associated mechanical components. * Work from drawings, isometrics and site instructions. * Support mechanical fit‑out of treatment process equipment. * Maintain safe working practices within a regulated clean‑water environment. Requirements * Strong mechanical pipefitting experience on water‑industry or industrial sites. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. * Safe, reliable and able to work effectively within a small team. * C&G's in Confined Spaces (essential) What’s On Offer * Initial 5‑week contract with high likelihood of extension. * Ongoing opportunities on other South West water‑industry projects. * Competitive rates and consistent work with a respected contractor
