CNC Setter

Pertemps Dudley are currently recruiting for 2 experienced CNC Operator/ Setter/Programmers to join a well established engineering business. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced CNC machinists with a strong background in milling, particularly those with experience using Fanuc and Heidenhain controls. The Role You will be responsible for operating, setting and programming CNC milling machinery, producing precision-engineered components to specification and maintaining high standards of quality throughout the machining process. Key Responsibilities Operating, setting and programming CNC milling machines Working with Fanuc and Heidenhain controls Reading and interpreting engineering drawings Setting tooling, offsets and machine parameters Producing components to tight tolerances Carrying out quality checks using appropriate measuring equipment Making programme adjustments where required Working to production schedules and deadlines Maintaining a clean and safe working environment About You The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience as a CNC Operator / Setter / Programmer Strong CNC milling experience Experience with Fanuc and Heidenhain controls Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Experience setting tooling, offsets and machine parameters Good understanding of precision engineering and tolerances Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work independently and as part of a team What's on Offer? £15.50 – £20 per hour depending on experience 8am – 4pm Monday to Friday Weekday overtime paid at 1.3x Saturday overtime paid at 1.5x On site parking Opportunity to join a well established engineering environment Long-term career opportunity If you're an experienced CNC Miller looking for your next opportunity, apply today with your CV and a member of our recruitment team will be in touch
