Our client is one of the largest facilities management and maintenance contractors in the UK, offering market leading opportunities for talented professionals looking for long term career progression. Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a Mechanical Shift Engineer to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation. Role Responsibilities: * Undertake planned and reactive electrical and mechanical maintenance across a wide range of building services. * Work as part of a balanced shift team (electrical and mechanical) providing 24‑hour cover for the estate. * Identify plant defects, warning indicators and system faults, taking appropriate corrective actions. * Maintain and support building services systems including power distribution, motor controls, lighting, standby generators, controls systems, inverters and fire alarm/PA systems. Required Qualifications: * City & Guilds craft certificate / ONC or equivalent. * Recognised craft apprenticeship (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent). * C&G Level 3 in HVAC/Mechanical Engineering (desirable).
