Senior R&D Engineer

A global medical device company are looking for a Senior R&D Engineer to join their research & development team on a contract basis. The purpose of the role is to help with their product testing, design of experiments and TMV, test protocols, for a selection of products. For this role you will need experience having worked with syringe / pre-filled syringes / PFS type products. Responsibilities Test Method Validations TMV Design, prototyping, test design, reviews, evaluations, V&V and protocols Design of experiments DOE Risk analysis & management Process developmentRequirements Mechanical engineering, Material Science, Biomedical Engineering or equivalent degree Experience working as a R&D Engineer on medical device products Minimum 5 years experience Experience working with syringe products / PFS / Pre filled syringes, ISO 80369 / 11040 Understanding regulatory requirements Must be able to work in a fast paced environment The start date is for ASAP/October. The initial contract length is for 12 months, with multiple extension options after. The role is based in Limerick and will require 3 days onsite per week, the rest of the work can be done remotely.
