Site Manager (M&E Background) Barrow-in-Furness £50,000 - £55,000+ Equivalent Earnings + Overtime Site-Based Role An established and growing contractor is looking to recruit an experienced Site Manager to support the delivery of planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance and small works projects on a long-term site-based contract in Barrow-in-Furness. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and secure contract with a strong pipeline of ongoing works within a highly regulated environment. The Role Working closely with operational teams, clients and subcontractors, you will be responsible for managing maintenance and project works from planning through to completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time and to the required quality standards. The successful candidate will have a strong M&E background and be comfortable managing both directly employed labour and subcontractors within a live operational environment. Responsibilities Managing day-to-day site operations Coordinating planned and reactive maintenance works Managing subcontractors and site teams Ensuring health & safety compliance across all works Planning and scheduling labour and resources Conducting site inspections and quality checks Managing RAMS and site documentation Attending client meetings and progress reviews Monitoring programme delivery and project performance Supporting commercial teams where requiredRequirements Previous experience as a Site Manager Strong Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) background Valid SMSTS qualification Good understanding of health & safety legislation Experience within maintenance, FM, refurbishment or construction environments Able to manage multiple workstreams and subcontractors Strong communication and client-facing skills Full UK Driving LicencePackage £50,000 - £55,000+ equivalent earnings Paid on an hourly rate Time and a half overtime Long-term secured work Site-based position Growing and stable business Genuine progression opportunitiesThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Manager looking for a long-term position within a busy contract environment where overtime is available and career progression is encouraged.
