Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical / Electrical) Our Client based in Fradley Park, Lichfield, is seeking an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer at their Distribution & Packaging Centre who can work a day shift pattern, 08:00-16:00 Monday to Thursday and 08:00-15:30 Friday. In this role, you will be integral to maintaining their packaging machinery and the broader infrastructure of the warehouse. You will ensure the smooth operation of five high-performance packaging machines while also being a key player in the upkeep of the building’s systems and facilities. Their dedicated facilities team works collaboratively to provide proactive maintenance, respond swiftly to any breakdowns, and contribute to various project work. Duties - Maintenance Engineer * Maintain and troubleshoot the packaging machines to ensure minimal downtime. * Conduct general building maintenance, including HVAC, lighting, and safety systems. * Diagnose and resolve technical issues across electrical and mechanical systems. * Support continuous improvement initiatives and project work. * Work at heights (up to 18 metres) using MEWP equipment. * Collaborate with external contractors and internal teams. * Update and implement preventive maintenance schedules via CMMS. * Offer technical support and training to operational staff. Experience required - Maintenance Engineer * To thrive in this role, you’ll need to bring valuable experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance engineering within a factory or warehouse distribution environment. * A qualification in the 17th or 18th Edition Electrical Regulations is desirable. * Experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, and material handling equipment. Benefits - Maintenance Engineer * They offer a competitive basic salary of £43,000 annually, with opportunities for overtime paid at 1.33, 1.5 and 2.0 rate. * Additionally, you’ll benefit from a generous pension scheme, with 11% contributed by the company. * Full-time and permanent.
