Senior Warehouse Operative / Team Leader - Permanent - Farnham TeamJobs are recruiting a Senior Warehouse Operative / Team Leader to join a well-established company on a permanent contract. This is a hands-on warehouse role with additional responsibility for leading the team and supporting the day-to-day running of the warehouse. Working hours: Monday to Friday: 8:00am - 4:30pm 40 hours per week Salary: £31,000 - £32,000 per annum £14.90 - £15.38 per hour The Role: Leading the morning team huddle and organising the day's workload Supporting and directing the warehouse team throughout the day Coordinating goods in and monitoring expected deliveries Ensuring goods are accurately received, recorded and put away Making sure warehouse documentation is completed accurately and in real time Monitoring health & safety and reporting any hazards or damages Completing cycle counts, stock checks and monitoring consumables Ensuring FIFO processes are followed Monitoring warehouse space and pallet utilisation Reporting on team performance and any issues throughout the day Attending daily operational meetings and leading these when required Supporting FLT maintenance, charging and cleanliness Working hands-on alongside the warehouse team with general warehouse duties What We're Looking For: Previous warehouse experience Previous experience as a Senior Warehouse Operative, Team Leader or similar Confident leading and supporting a small team Good knowledge of goods in, stock control and warehouse processes Strong health & safety awareness Good attention to detail and organisation Confident communicating with both the team and management Hands-on approach and happy to get stuck in with the team What You'll Get: Permanent contract £31,000 - £32,000 per annum Monday to Friday day shifts Opportunity to develop your leadership experience Progression opportunities Supportive working environment If you're an experienced Warehouse Operative or Team Leader looking for a role where you can stay hands-on while taking on more responsibility, then apply today and we will be in touch to discuss the role further.
