We are looking for someone with strong Definitive Map experience who can hit the ground running and provide specialist support across the Public Rights of Way function. Key Responsibilities * Processing Definitive Map Modification Order (DMMO) applications * Managing Public Path Orders, diversions and extinguishments * Maintaining and reviewing Definitive Map records * Investigating rights of way applications and public enquiries * Responding to complaints and access issues, including vegetation and grass cutting concerns * Liaising with landowners, stakeholders and members of the public * Providing advice on rights of way legislation and procedures * Supporting wider countryside access and network management activities Essential Experience * Previous Public Rights of Way / PROW experience within a local authority * Strong knowledge of Definitive Maps and DMMOs * Experience dealing with diversions, extinguishments and path orders * Understanding of relevant rights of way legislation * Ability to manage a varied caseload independently Details * £25-£35 per hour * 12-month contract * 3 days per week * Cheshire-based local authority * Flexible working available
